FFS Tommy Lee

I remember a young lad playing full back for St Helens having one of the worst displays in that position ever. He was Gary Connelly and he turned out OK.

That performance last year was one of a player desperately trying to prove his worth to his new coach - trying too hard IMO. I loved it at the time, but I still think he has the pace and the desire, given a fresh start and a new club.

Paul White was never decent he may have gone from being totally useless to just useless but that was about as good as he got.

Penny has pace we don't use pace so it would be a pointless signing. We need wingers like Semi who get through a lot of work not a luxury player who will stand out on the wing and never get the ball. Remember how we failed to use the pace of Frew and Sampson in the past there is nothing to suggest that we would suddenly start putting a pacy winger away week in week out.

Fastest player I have ever seen on a rugby field the way he left players for dead in his first few seasons was unreal most are on that video site if he gets his confidence back I think he will be a real gem for you.
