Seemed very good coverage to me....the only issue we had was when Tom intercepted that pass and the signal then "buffered" for about 15 seconds and only resumed when BJB put the ball down under the sticks
Thought the commentary from Matt Newsum and Eorl Crabtree was excellent and the coverage was excellent overall

| I disagree I thought the ball handling of Walker helped us create more second phase than we have seen for several games. I hope this disproves that it is not just grass and playing on your own pitch does make a difference.
I will say that this was probably our best performance this season and hopefully will put the Fifita criticism to bed.

| Quote: upthecats "A lot of contributing factors to why we’ve performed like we have today.
Confidence probably right up there as the main one...I said on here the other week any kind of win to help us climb out of the slump could make all the difference and it has...that win against Hudds looks to have lifted a huge weight off the shoulders of the whole team...first half we were excellent...got a bit scrappy 2nd half as could be expected with the short turnaround but we did it well in the end.
Just goes to show there’s still something there even with Chester in charge....all of a sudden things looking a lot more positive...Poching to come in, get the recruitment right, keep bringing the promising youngsters like Croft, Walker, Aydin, Bailey etc on and there’s no reason why we can’t have a much better season next year if injuries are a little kinder.
Looking back the fixtures since lockdown in that losing run were brutal...9 games and 7 against top 4 opposition...when your luck is down, confidence low and with the disruptions we’ve had to put up with the last thing you need is a run of fixtures like that...playing a team like Saints when you’ve lost 8/9 on the bounce is a near impossible task...we just needed a change of luck.
From many fans saying we wouldn’t win another game...after back to back wins things look a whole lot different and with confidence seemingly returned I’d actually fancy us against a top 4 side at home now!
We’ve missed playing at the old girl..!'"
Yep....another slice of humble pie for me please......I love humble pie

| Congrats on the last two games from a Wire fan. The tabloid thing left a very nasty taste in the mouth, that's not how we do things in RL.
Whatever your feelings about Chester, he's handled himself with great dignity.

| So we are one win behind Salford ( about to confirm the loss of Ian Watson?) and two behind Cas. Onwards and upwards.

| Players stood down for 2 weeks is a massive disruption as well even when there’s nothing wrong with them, having to train the best that they can in their back gardens and expected to be up to speed when back. The game has changed massively since most on here started watching. A settled side with a win thrown in makes a big difference.

| Thought Jordy has been excellent in the last 2 games, BLM....distribution from dummy half seems much better with him there and he's certainly getting through some tackles too

Absolutely.
Some of the "challenges" this season are unprecedented and hopefully will be a thing of the past, sooner rather than later.
Testing, both positive and negative, the doubling up on games, positional changes and little time to recover and prepare so often in short time, plus the speed of the "scrum free" games will be a huge test for every club and every player.
All of the lads deserve praise for sticking at it.
The win against Huddersfield was huge, in terms of confidence ad although KR got back into the game, we were a different side today, especially in the first half and considering that we had to move Wood into the halves, when Gigot went off, there was still plenty of fire in attack.
Having said all that, surely, there has to be some player rotation for the Leeds game.
It's like a perpetual Easter program at the moment with no recovery time.!
Great win though

| Chezzie said in his pre-match interview that Aydin and Kershaw (I think ??) will come into contention for the Leeds game.

More importantly it was a tough game for Crowther snr up and down them terraces as Ball retriever, fielding a total of zero balls
Hope he's fit enough for next Sunday
