Man for man I'd say our new signings are stronger and faster than those that have left, there's also more competition for positions. This can only be a good thing and I'm rather optimistic for a good season. If they can stay injury free then I think we have a real chance of making the top 8 and getting in touching distance of the top 4 by the end of the season (certainly closer to the top 4 on points value than this season)

I was disappointed Trinity lost Mikael Simon but Craig Huby is a massive improvement as he is a genuine quality Super League prop who only a couple of years ago was pushing for England honours...well done to the club.... hopefully he can regain the fitness and form he had for Cas and prove to be one of the top forward signings this year.

IMHO he'd be my choice for being given the squad number 8 and starting at prop alongside Anthony England with Sio at hooker, Kirmond and Ashurst at second row with Arona at 13.

Fifita and Hirst off the bench with Wood and Anthony Tupou if playing this season? Unless that is the next announcement of his retirement shortly before Allgood signing being announced? Has Tupou been spotted at training or not?

Cracking signing this - hopefully he'll be ready to put his year adrift at Shudds behind him, and regain the form he had at Cas. A big, tough forward, with a decent brain and an offload game - if some of our talented backs and 3/4's can learn to support him, we'll have an added threat that we've lacked for some time.

Quality signing, a great player with real class, This is just excellent news, he is tough, skilful and a leader. The possible starting props of England and Huby are not to be messed with, backed up with Fifita and Anakin on the bench, that is a real set of props who between them have everything needed. Well done MC and Co getting Huby signed you have played a blinder.

Got to admit Vasty, Anakin will never make a prop in a million years.
