| I felt it was all a little bit “meh” Wigan didn’t get out of 3rd gear because they didn’t have to and we continue to make the same basic errors that give away field position and possession.
I think the Miski try was in touch and the Havard try was comical in how bad it was.
We contained their strike players well but ultimately it was a drab and pretty lacklustre game with not much to get excited about from either side.

| Well just got back from Wigan, what a lacklustre awful, boring game. Wigan controlled it yes but they were very disjointed in attack and didn't really convert the field position they had. We tried and had a dig but we simply lack quality but above all we lack pace. We create nothing and our game plan just seems to be side to side and easy to defend against. Proctors first spell was atrocious and he was blowing after 2 minutes atoni none existent. I thought pitts was our best forward with whitbred second. Bowes and eseh had a good dig but I just fail to see how we will score points. Our backs look slow, sluggish and lateral, lino offered nothing and the one break we did make through pitts no one went with him. The question is can we score enough points to win some games say 24 points and keep tje opposition under that, I simply can't see it. Il say it again they had a dig but offered nothing

| I’ve just read Applegarth’s post match comments saying the effort is there and that people are playing to their capabilities and he still thinks he can turn it around. Unfortunately for me the large majority of players capabilities are not of SL standard and will potentially be the worst ever team to have played in SL how our trajectory is going sadly.

And by the time we play our next game the 1st May deadline will have past and any out of contract and worth keeping will be signing up elsewhere pretty sharpish because lets be honest we aren't looking like being able to give them any job security.

I can only see Lino, Tanginoa and Whitbread getting offers.
Plus the young guns like Eseh.

Next year will be a complete rebuild in the championship, any players who can get SL gigs will, not too sure which players though on the showings this year.

| I have to say, if Proctor and Atoni are as keen to get things working as they say, they both need to free up some quota and salary space.
They are adding nothing now.
If they are not fit by now they are never going to be fit.

Agree with that but they'll likely be others who get gigs as 'squad players', mainly due to the lack of numbers these days. Jowitt & Crowther still have time on their side and will likely get picked up, Langi i could see heading back to France and Kay's versatility might be useful to a smaller squad like Salford. Not much else though to be honest unless the promoted side take some.
Losing those promising youngsters will smart the most though.

| Hopefully, if we do go down, we can sell first team rugby to the young ones.
