So after 15 years and countless explanations on here and in the media you still can't work it out.Well I'm not going to tell you - I personally don't know IF it will happen but I do have enough nous to work out HOW.

| I would say if a bookie was laying bets on funding re development the odds would look something like this.
No one will fund it 1/100 fav
yorkcourt 100/1
WMDC 1000/1
The club 1000000000/1
My bet would be if I could lay one.
The club to get back the ground by way of a loan guarantee from the council plus a little bit of financial input as well.
Once the pig in a poke that is Belle Vue is in the hands of the club all goodwill disappears and we are left with a massive headache of how to make the place acceptable.
I know this is highly pessimistic and I would love to be wrong. But history should tell us the eventual outcome of any deal that relies on Box and yorkcourt

Similar to how I see it. Wary, as I’m sure michael and the trust are of the timing and the detail behind. What impact would it have on Yorkcourts supposed commitments etc. Belle Vue with no finances to develop will leave us in as bad a position as we are today

| I've got a great idea! Why don't we get a roup of interested parties to approach the Council, who in turn could invite a private wealthy speculator to purchase some green belt land somewhere in the Stanley/ Methley area, say. They could then build a massive building, say, like a big fridge. With all the money that the speculator would make, they could then build Trinity a lovely new ground We could even let some other sports minded people and members of the public use it. To overcome the green belt problem Sidney Carton ...er I mean Peter Box could ask a A big, overweight politician to overlook that little problem and let the speculator off planning permission. Then with all the money coming to Trin we would have a great new ground in about two years time. No problem!!
I think it's a superb idea. Who agrees????
OR
We could just stay at Belle Vue!!!

During the past week or so. Box has mentioned on radio Leeds, positive talks with MC, and good news just around the corner, then we’ve just had a photograph on a Twitter page of Ian Bramley, Johnathan Stone, with the Wakefield MP Mary Creagh, saying good news on the way. It’s therefore reasonable for people to expect some news, hopefully good news.

I’d say your likely not to be a million miles off.
All we’ve got to do then is get Yorkcourt to pay up and we are sorted....

I dont think he mentioned mc! I think he said the club/chairman, MC is no longer the chairman of the club, we have a different face conduction get the communication with WMDC

| Yorkcourt plays another blinder, they will get the planning approved for the brewery building, they will get planning for houses, they will generate millions for themselves. The planning committee is made up of a load of half witted Councillors put in place by Box who love the money they claim and are frightened to go against anything that Box says for fear of having their noses removed from the trough, they are mostly from the East of the district, dont give a toss about the City or Trinity and will not even know where Newmarket is, They will do as Box tells them to do. Once passed Yorkcourt in all its various guises ( look them up on companies house, check out directors, resignations, new companies, associate companies etc etc ) will make some vague promises, nothing in writing, about funding a rebuild of BV and them trouser the lot, they wont even contribute to a lick of paint.

| Just received an email from the council saying the planning meeting will be held on 21st Feb, I guess this was sent automatically to everyone who submitted objections. Check your junk folder if you haven't seen it, it was flagged as spam for me. It says only one representative for the objectors can speak for 3 minutes....however in 'special cases' the number of people who can speak and for how long can be varied. Let's hope they class this as a 'special case', we need more than 3 minutes to cover this sham.
