Congratulations for clearly not reading my post. Is that going to be your statutory response to anybody who dares reply to any thread about this subject? That was my objective and impartial view and has no allegiance whatsoever to any of the parties involved (or Cas).

That judgement is based solely on the decision and also the above document. If you actually bothered to read my post I said: a) That I don't agree with it - i.e. it shouldn't be called in; b) We all know the potential benefits of this proposal; and c) The fact that it won't get called in for the development itself, more location and the fact it's on greenbelt.

Would you not agree with those three fundamental points? For instance, do you think if this development was on brownbelt land that anybody would give a flying cluck-a-duck? Get off your bloody high pedestal and open your eyes for a change!

The Council did unanimously vote for it, you're right but doesn't stop it getting called in does it? If that was the case we would have a system in employment where every planning decision was made solely by the council on its own. And it isn't about me and my personal opinions on the environment or greenbelt - so congratulations for not reading the post again. And as for Cas, this has nothing to do with what I said and even if I did it's total rubbish.

You will find that you are in the minority the figures tell you that, 1000 objections and 16000 in support. It's been awhile since I left school but I still sure that 16000 is the bigger number. A fair and balanced judgement has already been made by the elected representatives who comprise the planning committee; it's got naff all to do with passive aggressive Cas fans or LCC.

No mate, wrong, wrong and wrong again, you lot on here must all be on drugs or something, what Wakefield council decide does not matter a hoot, Leeds council old sway in this part of Yorkshire and will not let this happen. The only reason wakey council passed it was because none of them want blood on their hands and they know that Leeds council and the SOS will kick the whole thing into touch and do their dirty work for them, they can then all come out smelling of roses and don't have to worry about death threats from the trinity linch mobs!!!

it's true buddy, you have NO fans .... So why build 200 acres of buildings nobody wants except those fans and their extended families (the 16000) it hardly constitutes the majority of Wakefield citizens now does it!!

a development WILL happen on this site, regardless of the Trinity involvement... there will inevitably be a merging of the urban sprawl between Wakefield and Leeds... the best that can be hoped is that this is done in a green and sympathetic way. Compared with some potential options this is a good plan, and offers much for the community.

I once almost bought a house on bottomboat rd... If i lived there now I would be campaigning for full community involvement in the development...

resistance really is futile, even if there is a delay, thats all it will be... a delay! and the only party that will suffer from that is the anchor tenant of the stadium...

A development will happen... and I hope it's this one!
