the author was mixing and matching parts of the conversation... read it again as he speaks about his preference for the view from the hospitality box and his intention to continue to watch games from there... that was mixed with his thoughts and ideas for the west... which references a viewing terrace above the covered terracing (I think) really looking forward to seeing the architects drawings... |

Exactly as I read it. Well explained. I too am looking forward to seeing what the viewing terrace will look like. I would guess at standing below and seating up top. Could be interesting indeed. |
