I am not talking about the actual stand lid which Glover built as you rightly point out. It's the section of terracing beneath that was refurbished when WMDC pulled down the main stand and 'up graded' all the West terrace.

The extra bit terrace was added around 1990, up until then the terrace ended short of the south touchline. I thought some fans built it but might be wrong. Glover added the roof much later as far as I recall.

To most stadiums the weather and age are it’s worst enemies but in BV’s case it’s WMDC.

I couldn't make the game as I was away, anyone know what the attendance was?

Total guess but I’d say about 1800, maybe more as the flats were full as were the seats.

Yes that's as I remember it too - I believe we said wanted to take the take the roof further towards the half way line (which may or may not be true) but we were stopped by Sky

You could be right, I heard in the shop this morning the attendance was 2,200. I was surprised, thought perhaps 1500, but the hospitality was full, and western terrace pretty full.

Cheers - 2,200 isn't a bad turnout if that's the correct figure.
