| 3 disallowed tries and 4/5 gilt edge chances bombed, it was certainly a frustrating afternoon over the dark side.
From minute one it looked like we though it would be an easy win but, credit to Leigh, they had other ideas.
Having said that, to be in front at HT and then be nilled in the second half against a club who have only won one game all season is
poor form.
Not quite as bad as the game at Huddersfield but, came away with the same disappointed feeling

| I don't know why but I saw this one coming - probably because I thought Leigh were good when we played them at BV.
Sometimes you have to just take it on the chin and admit Leigh were more up for it, it seems than us.
Had we won this game I would have thought Willie was a cert for the coaching job, but that may now hinge on how we finish in the last games?

Strange reaction from the Leigh fan when you consider how decent most Trinity fans have been to his club. PT wasn't boasting he was purely hoping, oh well you can't win with some folk.

| I note that as per usual when a restructure is proposed the old question of licensing comes back. I see the Leigh’s coach prefers a three year license option, I wonder why. I don’t like the make up of those tasked to investigate the future of RL.
I would think that our saving grace is Castleford because their ground like ours is old whilst Salford are currently looking for a new site for next season. I wonder if ownership would be a factor, how many currently play in nice stadiums that they do not own and are forced to vacate when the principal owners need to prepare the surface.
It looks like another period of uncertainty ahead.

Coz they can't afford thd rent where they are, a possability is they move to salford city fc's ground and they share Salford rl's ground with Sale sharks.

Sale want a partner club to buy 50% of the ground along with them buying 50%. Salford can't afford it and can't afford the rent either so it looks like Salford FC will buy 50% and Salford red devils will move to Salford fc's ground.

Frankly that’s a good deal for Salford.
It’s not a bad ground and could be upgraded to hold about 9000 which is all lost RL clubs need if they were being honest. It would certainly do us.

Agreed.
Remember the previous restructure that brought us the 3 x 8 system and how good that was for the game
The thing with making changes. By the time is comes to the vote, there is no alternative other than accept the new deal and
the real issue here is the drop in Sky monies and the bigger clubs wanting to "protect" their share, hence the likely drop to 10
clubs.
The new stadia with their plastic seats are great and there is no argument that our ground, together with Cas and Bradford (should they end up on the mix) are awful.
However, even if a magic wand is waved and we all end up in "new" stadia, it's hardly going to take RL in England to the next level. It wont add a single penny to the Sky deal (although we would no longer be penalised for playing in a poor quality ground).
The issues in RL run much deeper and the proposed change looks like doing more harm than good in the longer term.
