This was a major incident in Leigh on Friday morning and it was 'common knowledge' that it involved a rugby player though his name has only just been publicly released.

| This somewhat suggests we can no longer keep signing what are considered bad boys on the cheap because our experience over the last two seasons suggests we cannot handle them. We see supporters from some teams giving their club a bad name with us it is the players.
They may be perceived as better quality but the reason we can sign them is due to the baggage they come with, it is now becoming a false economy and our great club is once again facing the possibility of being dragged through the mud.   |
