So you think recalling a squad player from the Championship to take the place of players who have won us two out of three games this season is the answer???

Brown and Mellor may disagree with you.

| Molloy didn't even play for Sheffield yesterday so could also be injured.

Brown, although given plenty of time and space to work with was very, very good yesterday and the Widnes kicking game (again without any pressure) was faultless.
Turnstile defence and schoolboy errors, certainly helped keep the scoreboard rolling.
The team of the 80's was filled with stars, which would blow the current salary cap out of the water

| One good thing to come out of yesterday's result this morning, is that the 'knee jerk, lynch them' attitude has really slowed down.
We were going to get tubbed sooner or later, as Shifty Cat said, if you would have offered us 2 wins from 3 before a ball had been kicked, everyone would have been happy.
We get 2 wins and expectations go through the roof, then we get beaten by Widnes, who all of a sudden are inferior to Wakey!

| It was the manner of the loss rather than the loss itself that was the problem, hopefully the fact just about everyone had a shocker will mean it was just "one of those days". The main problem for me was that our forwards were very very poor…made no yards at all and were not moving up at all to dominate any tackles and this was very similar to the first 20-30 mins at Cas . If I remember correctly it was the introduction of Annakin that got us going forward that day. Anyway onto Friday where the players will want to get this match out of their systems and give us something to cheer about (hopefully), to be fair James Webster sounded as upset as all of us in his post match interview.

We put, Cocker.
Draw a line under yesterday and lets start again, although Saints isn't the ideal start on the road to redemption, unless we beat them

That's a good thing. I'd rather have a coach who feels the defeat than one who 'takes the positives'.

Financially, it also blew Widnes out of the water, as far as I recall.

| I had a good go at the team when they put in a can't be bothered effort v HKR last game of season 2014 and they deserved it..bit early to go OTT just yet. Might have said different If I'd wasted my Sunday driving from Beverley to Widnes mind you but I guess we are aiming for 8th and 2/3 isn't too bad. We need to keep the powder dry and keep calm and carry on a good while yet. I half expected something like this; Trinity are nothing if not predictably unpredictable!

I know what you mean about unpredictable but it's going to be a lot tougher against St.Helens on Friday and being competitive against Widnes should have been a given at least. It's not the loss it's the manner of the defeat that is shocking to most. I feel sorry for those fans that spent their money on that horror performance. For those that didn't go or listen to the error strewn and poor defensive performance. Have a look at this which is more than enough.....
