Don't think we are in a position to start signing players while they are still under contract. May ask for more than when they get released.
Wait to see who else gets released from others clubs.
Bradford, Salford and Hull maybe releasing some players, due to recruitment and bad form.
Sit tight and let's see what run up to Christmas brings.

Never used to be a fan of loans but our recent history with the likes of Kirmond and Amor speaks volumes and is surely the way to go...

There's a fair chance that Hull will have got Tuson on a better deal than we had arranged .
On the basis that he wasn't needed by Wigan and then given the choice of playing in a "makeshift" Wakefield side or going to a "big" club like Hull, he may have accepted a little less remuneration but, with better long term prospects.
Equally, was Tuson a "Marque" signing for us or, more of an up and coming player.
I don't think he's quite in the Sam Tomkins category.

Also you've got to bear in mind James Elston was probably negotiating the deal so it could've been inflated. One thought Trinity may have side stepped, if they agreed to pay one, the agents 'fee' now that he's gone to Hull (unless they got paid already!)

I had HOPED we would have been bringing / retaining some of our own back to the club , I think they would have been more value for money than loanees who couldn’t keep Hunslet in the championship . but it seems its not to be .  

Yep, despite the tightening if the budget it seems Agar doesn't rate the kids who are here enough to keep them, despite them likely to be cheaper than more experienced counterparts. As I said before had they graduated from the Hull academy they'd all have three year contracts by now.

Some of these threads remind of that scene from Swingers, where Mike starts seeing a girl, goes through the relationship, then ends it with her because it's not working, all without speaking to her in person.

Someone starts a rumour - someone responds to it - it becomes received wisdom a few pages in, and then the club/Agar/MC/whomever are a joke for doing the thing that was only actually rumoured to be the case in the first place.

My point is about the way rumours become reality without any official confirmation, which leads to overblown reactions to said rumours.

It is indeed a forum in which people express their views and my view is, it's daft, which I'm entitled to express.
