It is "Fifita" not "Fafita"
If you don't know the difference between "there", "their" and "they're" I might get annoyed.
Sharing First World problems so you can get it right first time.

| I think someone earlier in this thread said that Glover and Elston were no longer directors of Spirit of 1873. Was anything said about whether Glover was still majority owner of the club? If so will that be the case in the long term?

| As a Salford fan, I want to wish you guys all the very best for next season. I remember all too clearly the place we were in last year and I hated it. You are in a better state than we were from what I have seen and unlike our previous regime, your club is being quite open. I also want to apologise about the appalling behaviour of Red League. He doesn't speak for me or other Salford fans.

| Quote: asmadasa "eusa_clap.gif What I've been suggesting for the last couple of weeks on this forum. Have the shop at the ground open on match days. As for the gear sold my brother brought his family up and went to buy clothing there and was disappointed with the quality and variety. Sell on line we don't have the fan base to support a shop.
Need to cut back on costs so once that lease is up in Feb 2014 please don't renew it when we're struggling to finance a squad. There will be little exposure with no team.
The shop in the ridings is a mutual back scratching thing.
Wakey take the shop and the fans visit said shop to buy tickets, merchandise etc and the Ridings management increase the footfall in the shopping centre.
And for the club, our profile is raised, plus fans that are in the city centre don't have to travel to the ground as a special trip.
Win - Win (aside from duplicating stock and the need to staff two outlets)

Well, if that’s correct, that’s one hell of a payout, well done Wigan .
I can’t believe an Aussie club has shelled out at all. Is he off to Salford .

| New contract signed with Macron (part of the disagreement resolution)
We will have stock by end of November
As of this moment no outstanding CCJ's the club is aware of, the issue with Inland revenue has been resolved and in hand.
Also renegotiated rates for risings shop otherwise we would have been out of their..

| Big message is.
The quality of the squad is dependant on number of season tickets
Basically if your waiting to see who we sign or who we sell to buy your season ticket then you will see players sold
If you want to retain what we have then you have to get your season tickets, club 1873, foxy bingo
Chicken & egg scenario
But which one are you?!

Pretty much it.
The club will compete next season.
The budget is 1.1M based on 3k season ticket sales.
The contracted players are currently expected to stay (possibly excluding BenC,)
Anything over 3k season tickets will mean a bigger budget for players.
tell everyone you know to get a season ticket/join the 1873 lottery/join foxy bingo (code WTW) now!
1000+ season tickets so far, numbers still pretty low for lottery and bingo

| Glad macron are back supplying the kit they offer a good range of training gear that we lacked last season with FiTa + they supply half the football league and top euro RU clubs so they know what they're doing.

| MC has chosen the kit. Home is white. Perhaps expect something different for away, he says he'll take responsibility for it ...
says samples are decent quality and sizes.

| Quote: RebelRebel "One piece of info missing from all this (seeing as how the Supporters' Trust was behind the event). Where does this leave the ST? Shares in the club?'"
The Trust have been working with Michael Carter on some plans around shares/ownership however things are still not quite finalised and it was decided that we didn't want to present details until we know exactly how it might work.
It was decided to carry on with the meeting anyway as there was obviously a huge amount of interest (judging by the number of people who turned up) and it gave Michael and Chris Brereton a chance to introduce themselves and provide some pieces of good news
Most of it has been covered here but we are assured that the club is alive and kicking.
We will have a club at the start of next season.
We will still have a club at the end of next season.
The quality of the team will depend on how much the people of Wakefield want it.
The club has set a playing budget worked out on selling 3000 season tickets. If they sell more then anything above the 3000 will go to supplement the playing budget.
At present a little over 1000 have renewed their season tickets so you can see what is needed.
Hopefully the Trust and the Club will be able to bring more details around investment/shares etc in the very near future
