Am I the only fan who doesn't actually think he's that great? Sure he does great things occasionally but our overall control of a game and last tackle plays are pretty woeful and that comes down to the halves. Some of the time I get the feeling he wants to show his full repertoire of plays rather than doing what is effective.

My only concern is that we find a competent half to replace him who is a bit more of an all rounder and plays the percentages better. We are thin on proper halves as it is.

Its not bad news for everyone then, at least Vince Mellars is happy in knowing his comfortable life style can continue.

Even then i would not put money on it.

Agar ain't the only one. Working on the assumption that the players wages are at least 100k a month (salary cap of £1.2million over 12 months), plus all the coaching and backroom staff on top then (50k maybe) to get to the start of the season we need another 750k there til february without any other bills. If the season ticket money has already been swallowed up in the already admitted by AG 'cash flow issues' and we are operating on reduced tv money thanks to the rfl's rumoured help with the tax bill then i wouldn't be surprised to see others have to depart. Heads need to roll, get rid of the deadwood.

Yeah quality player just we didnt have the best playing off him although Sykes does do a good job.

I don't understand Bazzo why we shouldn't get the truth. Clearly individuals at the club have been telling us for ages what they think we want to hear. Sick of it all- time for a pint I think !

Yeah, I think we're all a bit worried at the minute, but how many times do people who claim to be "in the know" on the forum say something unsubstantiated and everyone panics? If there's one thing this forum ahs taught me it's that you can't really believe what anyone says until it is in a reliable news source.

Felt the same when we sold Nigel Wright, the same when Poching and a few others went after stopping up. Said i would never go again. But if it's in your blood, it's in your blood. Perfect opportunity for Agar to make a name for himself and get the young 'ens blooded. We have sold players, gone into administration, CVA's, had points deducted but still managed not to finish bottom. This is what makes me keep coming back. It may not be pretty but that's Wakey!
