Very much so. Such a shame they don't have a seat on the board.

Unfortunately as with the tax fiasco, I am not sure we can rely on getting a truthful answer

The Supporters Trust were asking a few weeks ago what format/guests fans wanted for a supporters evening. Since then silence, so meeting organised or more information given.

| Quote: Slugger McBatt "But what are they actually doing wrong?
The club is not generating enough money to cover its liabilities, that seems clear, but does that mean it is being run badly? Didn't AG say that he wanted the club run as a going concern. If someone had evidence of money being wasted or people giving large salaries to family or whatever, or mortgaging the ground hoping to cash in when the new stadium is given the green light, then fine. If it is just cashflow, what can they do apart from increase season ticket prices? Or run a lottery.
Okay, the club isn't making enough money. That doesn't mean people are doing a bad job. It just means that the club doesn't make enough money.
AG presumably is waiting for Newmarket to kickstart everything, with lower outgoings maybe and bigger crowds, but we can't blame him for that. What he isn't obliged to do is keep pumping his own money in just to keep us afloat. He wants it to be a going concern. I like to think they are trying their best to get it there.'"

Seems within the last few weeks a new co has been set up,"Wakefield Trinity Wildcats Ltd" with the same two owners, AG & JE.........makes you wonder what this is all about?'"
The more things change, the more things stay the same. Still got a culture of jobs for friends and family, still spending what we haven't got.
Of course, we can't compete without a sugar daddy, no-one but the very best run business in a larger area than us could do, but as long as everyone is aware of that, and we work within those parameters, it's fine. Not ideal, not perfect, but we haven't challenged the top table for decades, I doubt we'd get upset if that didn't change until the medium-long term.
Marketing only works with substance, "Together we are stronger" was always just words on a page.

| Do we know the actual details of the sponsorship deal with Eric France? How much money were we owed from him? How long was it not getting paid for? This would have been factored in to the budget and could be responsible for a few of these rumors.

Good point, we need someone from the club to be honest with us, we do not want the dark days to return

But as has already been said, we knew about the shortfall before we hired fozzard, tt and the new lottery manager and offered contract extensions on more money to existing players. So whilst the shortfall in sponsorship has undoubtedly left a hole, the club seem to be making it larger which is rank bad management

| What exactly is there to answer; other than speculation?
We are employing players and back room staff rather than when things were bleak in the past when we were getting rid of people.
Like slugger posted I can well imagine that day to day cash flow might well be a problem; I'm sure that is the case at a number of clubs.
Until we are selling STs at a proper price and at a good level and filling the ground that will remain to be the case.
As for who we owe and what we owe, the club are unlikely to make any comment to confirm or deny, if as we hope any money owed is for the right reason I.e the goods or services were poor (macron) and that the club is aware of what they are doing and that is in the overall best interest of the club.
That said if tgings are being run so badly this will be costing AG a small fortune and ultimately if the club goes under (again) he will lose more than anyone so I'm sure he must either have an eye on those (believed) to be performing badly or he's happy.
At the moment all we have is speculation and conjecture which is not unusual on here, and while I don't doubt the validity of some of the posters on this thread until I see us either visibly losing players or some official evidence tgat backs the rumours up, I shan't be panicking any time soon.
All this from a died in the wool sceptic.

But is the lack of numbers solely down to not have a lottery manager or the fact there isn't enough information about the way the funds are being used?
You also have to take into account the salary of the lottery manager (where is that being paid from) and the fact that if people aren't being paid when they win you are unlikely to get new members and possibly lose some of those you already have

| I think that the lotto could be a success ala cas or even dewsbury. I am arm bet and to be fair would like to see more updates. The lotto manager should have clear goals in order to reach his potential salary. It's previously been run on a shoestring but with the right guy heading it up , it could go very well. I'm prepared to give the bloke a chance to prove him can make a profitable return on the job. As for not paying folk for services supplied, I have heard some horror stories but these have come from individuals who don't see eye to eye with glover.
