Never stopped anyone having an opinion, just pointed out the inaccuracies of them and a few known “Facts” on numerous occasions but I guess that “Facts” can only be used selectively and exclusively by a chosen and pre-approved few

| Just before Fox makes another clanger Mathers pull of a decent hit on the saints man and as usuall is our go to man if Sykes or wood not taking things on. Some people no accepting he's the best we have got or are going to getat the moment. Think Foxy needs a week off though. Lyne to get a chance on wing with Smith in centre.

| Having seen Kyle Wood limping at the end of Fridays match and seeing how well Smith played scum half I would expect Smith (Lee) to be playing 7 on Friday.
I could be tempted to give Mellars a go on the wing though to see if his size helps against Ryan Hall

Yes Hall is a big lad but I just think we need someone who will compete for the highball when Sinfield kicks and hopefully get it and keep it.

| Murphy is a good player, but our situation a couple of years ago meant that he had stayed as loyal to the cause as he could be. For the club to be in a position where they had the opportunity to sign Mathers after all the turmoil, is great. This player and a few others wouldn't have even considered signing for Trin 3 or 4 years ago. He would have been a marquee signing in the JK era, but because of the nature of our squad, he is not in that bracket anymore. I would much rather have an attacking fullback who can create the extra man and score tries and leave the tackling to the blokes in front of him who he is telling where they are short. Anyone for Steve Larder? The majestic attacking fullback from Cas in the 90s.

| not read all this thread but fullback is not at the top of the list of issues that needs dealing with.
I'm fairly happy with RM, he has his failings and most people know what they are and therefore nothing surprising has happened in that respect.
I think he contributes more than he fails though and we would struggle to replace with better.
