I was told on 26th December 1981, when the infant Kirke arrived kicking and screaming into this world, that one day, he would sign for Wakefield.
In terms of things going quiet - I expect if there was to be an announcement, it was always going to be after the GF.

| Quote: asmadasa "We should be looking at both the above props who are real NRL quality, out of contract and looking for a long term deal. Wakefield would then have real strength in depth at front row. If we've not approached Manuokafoa then we've missed a trick as he has still not signed for Bradford who appear not to be offering many contracts out to their senior players and they don't have the spending power anymore & will be playing on a lot lower budget I would have thought with the problems they've had.'"

Yes well, Michel de Nostredame (14 or 21 December 1503 – 2 July 1566), usually Latinised as Nostradamus, told me at a Stanley Rangers A vs Brotherton pre season friendly in the summer of 1540.........................................etc.

If not Tom, then who? Adam Gledhill?'"
Yep I reckon an off season would add to his 6' 3 and 16.5 stone. A youngster home grown who is probably worth a punt.

Sorry to pee on the fire, we have missed the Boat with this lad. Him and another have signed up as Ten Pound Poms and are going to the other side of the world I'm afraid.

| In Australian papers today - 'WRECKING ball Mose Masoe's days at the Roosters are numbered, with three Sydney-based clubs ready to swoop.
Masoe was dropped from the Roosters' top squad but is in demand after starring for the Newtown Jets in the NSW Cup finals series. A UK-based club is also offering big money.(Wakefield Trinity Wildcats?)
Mose Masoe is a 'wrecking ball' prop forward ('The Smiling Assassin')and is 6 ft 4 inches tall and 19 stone 10lb. He's been playing really well in the NSW cup for Newtown Jets apparently after being off loaded by Sydney Roosters after a one year deal.
Maybe a 3 year deal with a super league club playing with a legend like Ali Lauitiiti may appeal to him?
Edit. see PM.

| Just checked the highlights clip. The guy is a monster.
Could do some real damage to defence if he shows the motivation. Would be a big signing for us at 23 years too.
Him and Poore... That would be a hell of a front line up.
