Just been listening to the radio, Stuart Dickens says that Ropati's jaw is broken and he could be out for ten weeks. He can't get paid whilst not playing and his visa won't allow him to take any other job. So basically, the lad will have no money coming in for the time he's injured. That clip doesn't look good - unless the match review panel see something I didn't, that was a deliberate elbow to the head and should result in a very long absence from the game.

Just seen it, and it looks like a pre-meditated attack with intent to cause injury. It just is not acceptable in our game, and to be honest I think it should be treated as a criminal case. The game is dangerous enough without allowing thuggish acts like this go unpunished.

More you watch it the worse it looks. He only received a caution from the disaplinary about three weeks ago for striking as well. Should be a lengthy ban, especially when you take into account the severity of the injury caused.
