| Have people not picked up that the current number 2 at Wests is Pete Gentle. Surely this news means he is moving on to another job...

| Shane Mc Nally - working in administration role for Queensland Rugby League in country region I believe. This was following a stint as Qld Cup coach for a few years. Thought at the time his dismissal was a tad unfair. Also fought hard to retain Gareth Ellis. Worth a phone call at least.

| OK!
If we're talking about Shane McNally and Mitch Brennan then I'm unashamedly going to throw Andy Kelly into the mix.
Andrew currently works for the RFL as a Development officer, holds the highest attainable coaching qualifications and delivers coaching courses to international coaches on behalf of The RLEF and the RFL.
Far from being out of touch with modern coaching methods he is well versed and completely up to speed.
The rest everyone knows?

Is he still keen? Just seems he's been out of club coaching for a while. Also and you don't have to answer this, is his health up to it?
I'll stick with the Aussies because as ever they are streets ahead. However if we go British then yes I'd consider AK as a possibility.
Old Tiger says McNally was treated unfairly which he wasn't but AK was definitely a casualty of Pearman. In a fair world he deserves another chance but perhaps as a combination with a very good Aussie assistant to bring that added dimension.
Have to say though Clan I can't see it - sorry.
