Great news, and made sweeter by the fact nobody saw it coming!
Lets just try and show a bit of class and not pick over the bones of the Crusaders, remember how it felt when we was having it done to us earlier on in the season.....

They would have kicked us out mate, that was the idea all along but they couldn't hide the problems at Crusaders any longer.
If anyone thinks the RFL have played this fairly they need a cold shower. |

I can understand the moral argument but realistically the club will not have the funds to pay their wages. The players will need to find a SL club in order to make a living. |

P.s When the dust settles start asking why the RFL were prepared to ditch you when it's clear the Crusaders franchise bid neither had the substance nor the funding!!

The RFL probably very strongly 'asked' them to withdraw, so it was never coming down to that, but I think the RFL would have had no choice but to boot them out if that is what had been decided. |

Totally agree - if there was any way that Crusaders could have been salvaged, we'd have been gone in a flash.
We've got loads of work to do now - so much to deliver on and no safety of 3 years to prevaricate; this licence is a year on year deal. |
