Cant wait till the 8th though
Never said it was , just mentioned it as people may be interested . It may not even happen , they both just seemed to be into the idea that's all .

Only problem is we would have to buy it and pay for the stadium ourselves (and jump through the planning hoops) that would be over 20 million quid and some. Cannot see how that would happen (unless there is someone else who wants to come in with us e.g Guisley, Ossett Town).'"

| Wakefield FC are in talks or may even have agreed by now, to share Ingfield with Ossett Town next year.

Maybe AG popped down his local bank and got a little loan, I'm sure he has good credit

Some talk of Bradford Northern and some of Hull and Leeds
Of Wigan and St Helens and such great teams as these
Of all the teams in Rugby league with me you will agree
The best team in the whole wide world is Wakefield Trinity!

Just what I was thinking.
If anyones unsure of the site it's worth a look on google maps.
Basically it's a huge rectangular plot split into 3 a plot of around 50% and 2 of roughly 25%. The total size is easily big enough for stadium, muga and car parking.
Put it this way. It's far more "ready to go" than either NM or GH.

Maybe, or maybe we are strafing the Wakefield Sporting Club and losing the Trinity hence why we are looking at bringing the badge back to keep the tradionalists (Old farts) happy?

Not if you believe what they're posting about AG.
Put it this way this "window and conservatories man" will earn more this year than I dare say 99.9% of Castleford will earn in a lifetime.
Then there's Steve Parkin..... Get him on board (and get it past the RFL this time!)

What's the warehouse next to it?

McMillan Cancer Trust. There main warehouse. Can't see them kicking off. It would be far more likely that they would naturally "work more closely" if you pardon the pun.
A golf course behind, with smaller warehousing and distribution businesses leading onto Flanshaw.
No problems as far as anyone can see. The site that's left is only a small portion of the park so it's far from the situation at NM where you are creating a park to begin with.
Does anyone know the reason NM was chosen over Silkwood/how hard it is to get land classified as industrial changed to permit building a community stadium? IA?
With or without a stadium NM is a brilliant proposal for the region, it's about progression and economical development & I'm all for furthering my city!

From what you're saying, it sounds like investment then.
