If the deadline to get the money in is the 11th March, why not hold out until then ?

With so many people coming forward with offers of donations then we could be in a position in 2 weeks time to sponsor a fair few more of the players if not them all !!

I'll just see how it's going. It may be that most people have donated before deadline and the offers stop. If it carries on like this then i will. Only thing is, i need to know numbers before the pay deadline day so i can arrange figures as they will obviously change. Or are we all just happy to pay £50 per share and donate what ever is spare to a good cause? Upto you guys?

Im more than happy to donate £50 but I think we need to consider they may be some younger fans or maybe fans who are currently out of work who would love to contribute to something like this but maybe can't afford £50 ?

If the numbers increased to say 50/60 fans then £20 would suffice and give these other fans a chance to be involved.

Not bothered about the perks, but I would like any excess to be kept within the club.

There are already people contributing £20. There is no min/max on what people can donate, although i woould say £20 is the lowest to be fair to others. If people let me know an exact figure of how much they want to contribute i'll add it all up. Few people hace said upto, not sure if that means they want to put that amount in or less. Just let me know. ALL fans are wellcome, not just wakey!

I'll second the plaudits being given above. Fantastic response in such a short time. Sends out a powerful positive message to your new owner too.

Would suggest you consider the increased numbers/reduced individual cost argument - you'll get a much wider involvement that way and less chance of some muppet acusing you of becoming a clique. Plenty of opportunities I'm sure for anyone who wants to contribute more? Or just "buy" more than one share in the sponsorship if you can afford to? Make it £20 a share regardless, then if someone is happy to contribute £50 then its 2 1/2 shares.

You can have a full £100 from me to the sponsorship, get as much as we can to sponsor as many as we can. If we run out of players donate the remainder to TRY. Let me know when you want it.

And a very good one too, £20 should encourage more people to get involved instead of frightening them off with amounts they cannot afford.

Why not use any extra to buy equipment for the community team?
