Probably about the same that he throws down the drain in Guisely, or throws down the drain running a string of race horses or would have thrown down the drain buying LUFC etc.
Would you consider the other Dragons who poor money down other drains that are RL clubs Simon Moran, Ken Davy, Ian Lennegan, Paul Caddick, Steve O'Conner & Ted Richardson to be fools?

See that is what so annoys me on these forums. Just because you want it doesn't make it so!
I'd love it to be true but how do you know. Why do you assume that because he loves Guisely, race horses and LUFC he will feel the same about us - please explain - as poor old me can't see the connection! I personally have had enough of nods and winks and comments such as "great bloke" I'd rather the facts good or bad.
I say again tell me what's in it for him and how you know this and I'll gladly accept what you and others say - otherwise I'd be a fool - the sort of fool who believed Ted (I can safely assume you are one of the 99% of folk on here who always knew he was a wrongun)  |

There is an existing connection you know - Guisely have been using BV for training for some time now - hence where the contacts have been made.
What his general motivation is - we can only speculate, but his worldly wealth is not generally disputed.
I might add that there are more than party still interested and in talks, so all of this may not end how we think!

We have to wait and see, TRB will wink now and again, but no one from the club will let the real people know whats happening, us the FANS.TRB i reapeat, we are sick of it, if some one knows whats going on, just frigging tell us

Who knows what's in it for him? Why did Sheikh Mansour buy Man City? Is there oil under Manchester?
He's obviously not interested because he thinks there's a quick buck to be made, nor does he need to make one. Why did he want his own company to expand to reach a turnover of 500m? He was a multi-millionaire at the time. Did he need the extra cash?
I guess some people just like the challenge. If he can be the one who takes a famous name like Wakefield Trinity and brings back the glory days to the club, it reflects well on him as a person/businessman, and in the meantime provides entertainment for him, his friends and his business associates. We're all in it for fun (or that's how it's supposed to be). Maybe he can get his kicks from running the club too?
So, to summarize... I have absolutely no idea.

Same here, that's why I would suggest actions speak louder than words. Words are cheap and there's an abundance of them on here. I'm not denying the mans motives or hi ability to deliver. I'll just believe it when I see it. I'll leave faith to the experts in dog collars  |

FFS - all I'm telling you is rumour and gossip - as much as it is possible to tell.
Do you not think that it's impossible to try and represent supporters interests without stumbling along bits and pieces of information - none of which are fact yet because no deals have been done.
There is nothing to tell - yet - and whether you're sick of it or not makes no difference at this time. Patience is required by all of us, but I remain hopeful of a positive outcome and will continue to try and present the supporters interests in the best way that I can. |

Fair enough, but we have heard all this stuff before. Yes it is a possible scenario no doubt, but that is all it is IMO. At this moment I can see far more reasons why it won't happen than it will. If anyone can tell me why it's a goer I'm ready to listen, but as you say for now it's all speculation.
Not having a go at you TRB but it's the same over optimistic speculation that had us believing the diggers would be at Newmarket by now. We need to stop writing the headline before we have the story IMO. I know this is a forum and that is the nature of the beast but there has to be a counterbalance to the rampant speculation which is why I and a few others are questioning without hopefull appearing vindictive or negative.

People (me included) on here use your history of inside knowledge as a glimpse to the inside of the workings of the club, it is no surprise then that if you state facts people jump up and down a bit.
