To be honest if we had a replacement lined up i wouldnt be bothered to see Moore go he was rubbish last season and although we supported him through his illness he just dosent seem the same player as before and nowhere near as eager to carry the ball through some tackles

He isn't the same player as he was a coupple of years ago and i wouldn't be sad to see him go. However, i would hope that we play hard ball with him and demand a fee from any club that wants to sign him. If we do let him go that would mean we are 2 props short.

but if we sign hickey we would be 1 prop short, and anyway that'll mean gledhill gets more game time

It seems obvious to me ,that after last seasons rubbish, that there were too many players stealing a wage and they've got shut of them. You don't see the players who performed last year like Morrison, Murphy and Obst going any where.

I think next season and how we perform particulalry attitude wise will answer the question.

Correct. Arguably 3 of the best performers from last year are staying and happy to be here.

I think this season we mayhave less quality on the field in terms of reputation however the players that will be playing all have something to proove and i think we see an upturn in performances and effort because of this alone.

its comments like these that show how blinkered some on here can be. Obst and murphy were poor i the last third of the season and morrison clearly dropped off. The big issue yet again is why are people wanting out and the answer is simple, the club's future and even moore so the coaching staff has zero respect. I have said it before if other clubs came in for our players they would leave and this issue needs resolving. Kear and co have got a bad rep amongst players now and Johnson comments and moore asking for a release is proof of that. We can continually blame the players and yes i agree moore of all people should show some loyalty, but in two years we have had moore, johnson, sculthorpe, brough, peterson and tronc all want out or be happy to leave with a pay out and i dont buy tht it is all the players fault. Moore leaving will create a big problem because we cant replace him with any quality and it would yet again be another project.

one thing is rightt we will have very little quality and two or three injuries and we are in it deep. Morrison will only play half the season and he will no doubt be captain so we will be down a leader and have to rely o young lads with no leadership.
