Semaphore, I believe.
Morgan stated that Rovers would not comment on something that they had not instigated. This would at least appear to indicate that the initial contact was between Cooke and Wakey (one way or the other). |

Thats the thing though, There's probably no more in this than Morgan not liking the player/having no plans to play him and the club benefiting from not paying a very large wage to someone sat in the stand.
For all Justin Morgan loves being in the media when push comes to shove he hates being put under any kind of pressure, even by the local 'pussy cat' journalist.
Surely to answer that question openly and honestly would have been better for the club and the fans, instead of standing there in front of the journalist like a spoilt child, refusing to speak. He did exactly the same when he dropped Cooke for the famous ' Where's your Cookie gone' derby !!
