| Would rather take Brown myself, just the sort of player Kear could work wonders on, would have Brough before the both of them.

Scapegoat or not I think even BJ's biggest fan wouldn't back him at 7.

| i think if broughy does leave you will really strugle to replace him with a player even half as good unless you go to oz and pay out a fortune, but on the other side of that if you do list him now it will probbably just upset the camp and to be honest every club he has played at including you now if rumours are to be blieved it has not ended well so in my opinion it would be a big risk for any club to come and pay a big fee for him but if he goes on a free transfer he is much less of a risk to a new employer and you might just get a good season out of him if he knows he is already sorted at the giants for next season.

And his worst.
His only option is stand off for me as a slightly better Rooney/Martin.

| Brough knows exaxctly what he is doing abput negotiating his signing on fee or his new contract - money matters the most (by a hell of a long way) in Danny's life at the moment. This finance position holds the key to where he plays. Nothing else maters to him.

| A bit of loyalty towards our players would be appreciated - as we expect it from them.
It was on October 1st,last year, that John Kear was quoted in the press about the likelihood of Danny signing his extension, rlhererl.
On 5th November the news broke about the potential for a winding-up order.
It may very well be that the current situation is beyond the control of Danny and as such any anti-Danny statements may not be conducive to confidence building in the squad.
My opinion is that Danny deserves this season with Wakefield and I would much rather Danny
was putting his hands on silverware than any other half-back named on this thread from outside the club.

| Reading between the lines it seems lad13 is suggesting the financial worries is the individuals rather then the clubs.
Still, as long as he remains committed throughout the season then I think the club would be daft to cash in. He was signed for nothing so what’s the big deal if the club lose him for nothing. I don’t see the desperate need to get 100K or so (very unlikely given he is in his last year of contract) other then the tax bill which appears to be under control.
