Quote: MR BROWN "normy knights under 13's entertained hunslet warriors. normy won 34 - 12. if some of the warriors had concentrated on rugby instead of wanting to play the hard men they would have done better. normy's discipline was outstanding, played some good rugby.'"

well done! warriors all the way through the age groups are known for that! shame that they pulled out of the game against queens last season due to events in the previous game icon_lol.gif when they got the treatment that they dish out constantly! why don't the league officials make random checks on all clubs and take action against certain teams who encourage bad play?

ps..1 of our under 11's got sin binned today for foul language to the referee .. he deserved it and his other behavour will not be tolerated ! well done knottingley for their victory.

Its the only way they can play, had some shocking days at Hunslet, not Parkside they are ok.

Quote: Spongebob "Crigg under 10's away at townville today won 28-16 . Lot harder as expected , but to be fair crigg threw the ball about ( at last !) but maybe too much at first and never really had much possesion first half- the townville number 6 was outstanding , completely ran the game for them - strong in defence too . Bit of wrestling also involving the ref and a spectator too - I'll say no more ( it's cas ! - sorry brayton !)v.entertaining morning all round . Once again though good atmosphere before , during and after game - made to feel welcome so can't complain in that aspect .'"

the 6 is a lad called stuart bellwood,a very good player but just lacks a bit of size.

for the record townville aint cas and townville would be has insulted has me for saying their from cas icon_wink.gif a breed of their own up that hill icon_lol.gif

yes his size wont stop him he is a very good player with a good rugby brain and a great determination.

no offence taken to the cas bit.

i spoke with the heworth coach last week and they seem to be in the same boat has yourselfs struggling to get a decent game in league 2,it should be a good game when the two of you meet and garforth turned townville over and are a very big side who could also make a game of it.

the way i see things is that two teams willl drop out of group 1 and 2 teams from group 2 will replace them either after every team has played each other or after christmas.

yesterday stanley rangers lost to crigglestone 24 -6 and it was a nightmare with the weather, passes wasn't reach each other and if they did it wasn't controllable,
kicks was being taken out on the full it was like watching pinball and we seemed to be caught up with poor decisions from the referee, very difficult to take this on the chin but if their was ever proof that there is need for junior referees then that game was it icon_sad.gif

Shaw Cross 20 York Acorn 10.

Acorn came up from division below and showed some good play, Cross are starting to look like a decent side and will get better.
