I?ve suggested we need to move Max there when we only had Lino and it looked like Trueman might be just a couple of weeks away. Now it?s been 5 weeks for Trueman and if Lino does pick up a ban then we either have no halfbacks at all or we have one who?s just returning from injury and who?s record suggests he might get injured again.


I suppose it depends on what the club wants from this season.
If the clubs happy to have a season of consolidation and then make some changes to the squad then we?re going well
However, if we have ambitions of reaching the playoffs offs then we?re going to fall short unless we solve the half back problem either by working some sort of miracle on Russell & Lawford or we bite the bullet and bring someone in.


If we were to bring someone in then we might as well go for quality rather than a stop gap

We are less than 25percent through a five year project? I don?t know what people expect!?!? Almost half the team on the injured list?some really promising performances from some developmental players, yet some want instant satisfaction by throwing away the plan and importing short term solutions? that?s what we used to do? and it didn?t work?  trust the process and watch the club evolve? we won?t win every game? (was that really your expectation?)

Not like you to put rumours on PopTart you are some one who goes with facts, hope it is true ,Think it shows how much we are missing a  HB 

It?s not PTs rumour and PT says it?s not fact and unknown if true. I think PT is sharing for everyone but it?s not a fact.

I saw the same thing on socials. It would be better than what we have as an option at 6. 


We certainly have known for a number of games we are missing a halfback. It?s what most of the discussion points have been around. Hopefully that eases this discussion somewhat.

Max bottom of all attacking stats this weekend. Criminally underused at 6 I?m afraid. Hopefully not something we need to repeat of this is true and we can actually get Max hands on the ball much more and he can create some try?s.

That is not true Lord Lucan  was scared of horses ,or was that just a rumour
