Got my bit of pitch.
No idea what I'm going to do with it.

But there are some major diggers and trucks waiting to dig it up. Won't be long with that lot.

Shared a pleasant morning with a good turn out of fans. Had the opportunity to try out that new seating in front of the hospitality block which I must say is pretty decent under the sunshine. Another chance to chat and say thanks to the guys who are leaving too.
Then we got let loose onto the pitch. I got a couple of strips of turf and have already laid them into my back lawn.

Peed off big time!!
Been waiting years for this opportunity and it comes along when I’m on holiday.

Even the pitch is upping and leaving along with the players.

Doubt it. It was planed off and blown onto a truck

There was an old rumour about a gypseys curse on the ground. Hopefully that has got planed up and taken away.

You know I firmly believe this to be true, the bad luck we have had.

I'm still fully expecting a giant sink hole to appear beneath the old East stand at any moment.

On Saturday I was expecting to see Bathy rocking in a corner when they removed his beloved pitch.

Is there still some left, a secret stash?

I would doubt it the way they were taking the top surface off on Saturday.
