| Sorry to harp on about it but what a great position we would have been in had we held on and won at salford

I wouldn't say weak but they haven't been convincing so far.
They also have Bradford away, Us away, Salford at home then Leigh at home.
hardest run in of all teams IMO.

No way are they weak in this mini-league however, every team who they have to play (including ourselves) will be targeting them as a must win, either to avoid the play-off game or to finish in the top three.
When I initially saw the fixtures, I thought Widnes had got the best deal, I’m not so sure now.

Bradford beating Salford has certainly shake the tree and IF it was just a bad day at the office for Salford, we might get back to predictable results.
However, if they can replicate their form in their remaining fixtures, there will be a SL casualty.
Thankfully, we got an excellent win against them and this could be the most significant result of our "series".

The way it is working out, we may have the best deal. We finish with Fax & Sheff, both of which should be out of it by the time we play them. Still think points difference could come into this and we should be able to rack up points in our last two games.
I think Widnes could be in bother & they could quite easily end up in the £m game. We just need to ensure that we beat them on the 12th. Do that, and we will be okay.

Should all matches of the final round therefore kick off at the same time then?

They probably should but, nowadays we just dance to Sky's tune so, we will play when and where we are told.

Regrettably the team that loses the CC final often recoils the follwoing week and I expect this will be KR.'"

| My view is that for the 4 games we have remaining, the coach and the team will be aiming to to win them all and therefore not relying on the help of other results to ensure we do not have involvement in the million pound game. The fate of the club is is in their hands and we the supporters should make sure we are loud, proud and vocal at as many of the remaining games as possible

And Bulls may well beat Leigh the way they are going, which would firmly put Widnes and Salford in that game.'"
To be fair, the only game we have been poor is the Salford one. 2 good 1st halfs v Wakey & Hull KR. Guess our reward for finishing top of the league, is being the only championship side, to face super league sides in our opening 3 fixtures. IF we beat Sheffield & Halifax, then we are back in with a shout.

I think that you have been a bit hard done by.
Sky and the RFL probably expected you to beat Wakey and Salford early on in the middle 8's and couldn't wait to show the world just how good the new format was.
IF you had turned both of us over, there would have been heaps of positivity for your club and the new structure.
As things have turned out, with exception of Bradford's rout of Salford, we've had the expected scenario of SL clubs beating the lower league clubs, albeit with some close tussles along the way.
The next round of fixtures will be crucial as to how it is likely to unfold.
Bradford vs Widnes will be massive and if the Bulls replicate their win against Salford, it will be game on.
Leigh are now fighting for a spot in the million pound game, whereas the top 5 have their destiny in their own hands

| Feels good to be defying the predictions, but I'm not getting carried away. We smashed Bradford admittedly, but they were bloody awful that day - a pale shadow of the team that pumped Salford; then we barely scraped a win against Leigh.
Points are points, but a win against either of HKR or Widnes still seems unlikely.

Agreed. We still look very vulnerable when the opposition have the ball. Leigh scored 16 points having barely been in our half. Couple that with the amount of possession we had on their line scoring only 6 and it's hardly confidence inspiring. That said we did show a lot of guts and on any given day I think we can beat anyone in the 8s, just depends if it's gonna be our day or not I guess
