Ryan Bailey is not grunt - far from it; he's a selective hardcase who only seems to front up against the little fellas. When he was introduced during the HKR game I turned to my mate and said "how long before he starts on Tim Smith?" Lo and behold, ten minutes later, he was shirt-grabbing with Timmy.

He's not right for us and I'd be disappointed if we signed him, even on a short term basis.

The problem with Bailey is that he is better than he looks, because people focus on his supposed hardcase side.
He clearly is a pantomime bully but he does make yards and is affective at being a prop.
If he just lost the big bully attitude I think he'd be regarded well.

I have to say I cheered when Poore got stuck in to him but Leeds have had the money to replace him for a long time and stuck with him through their most successful period so he obviously has skills. He just hides them well.

But I agree he's not right for us

Been released by HKR for personal reasons.

We give enough penalties away as it is without Bailey adding to the tally!

He's got personal problems. No point.

God forbid that we sign Bailey. The man is a complete nutcase. We dont want to become a team of thugs. I'm sure there are better players out there somewhere. He looked mediocre in a star studded Leeds side and if he was any good they never would have let him go. They made one mistake letting us have Ali. I know we are desperate for players but surely not THAT DESPERATE!

Best Trinity can hope for are players like Griffin and Hand. Maybe then taking one or both of them on longer term if they perform?

You could also ask why did they keep him so long and have as much game time as he got if he was as bad as some think not a player I like but when your down to the bare bones on a pay as you play.Lets face it this club has had its share of dropouts and misfits and bad boys and thugs and most have done a good job

I'd watch Jordan all day over Bailey and take it from me,at 18 he'd do a far better job at a fraction of the price......Bailey,god forbid

Would sooner watch any of our own any day but when the squad is down on numbers like we are and it could get worse so never say never as I have said before not liked the player and not for me but we are starting to get seriously down on numbers.
