Same here, always really rated him and I thought he'd really find his feet at Wakey, if we didnt mess him around too much positionally, although his utility value can come in handy in emergencies.

He looked great today - very safe at the back, joined the attacking line to good effect and kicked well; also showed his threat in broken play, which will bag us a few tries over the season.

I've always liked him - he's an athletic, inventive player who's not afraid to back himself; think he'll go well for us.

Craig Hall was the standout player for WTW and looks like the star buy of the season allready for me. McShane looked very good also. Well done on your victory.

I suggested Hall and a certain poster I was stood near (not Belly) seemed to scoff at the idea - didn't get it at the time and thought I must have missed something, clearly not. He had a great game.

As others have said, I was surprised and delighted when we announced his signing, and I can't believe HKR let him go.

I was down at Cats bar on Saturday for a function and got told that he had been badly all day, and was doubtful for Sunday, but he showed no signs of it, and was one of our stand-out players yesterday. Just wait while next week when he has fully recovered and is also playing against his former club.
