We don't seem to be able to compete with our pack for the full 80 mins and at times found it difficult to get out of our own half? Think we should play with 6 props in the 17...Moore,Anderson,Scruton,Smith, Raleigh and Tautai at 13 (when he's fit).
Thought Sykes had a half decent game? But does he create enough? think we should push him out into the centres maybe with Collis with Lynne and Riley on the wings. Sammut and Godinet at 6 and 7.
Mathers doesn't have the pace for wing and is either at full back or not in the 17 at all. I'd like to see Wildie,Annakin and Jowitt get a run in the 17.

Can't argue with you one jot. I mentioned Sykes and I feel sorry for the bloke tbh. He's not a creative player. He's a hald decent kicker but he's not a 6. Especially when you've got Siejka, Sammut and Godinet that can play there. Tbf I just think he's not good enough anymore.
Annakin or Tautai at loose instead of Washbrook. The bloke is stealing a living at being consistenly bab.

| Pairing Sykes with Lyne was a no no for me.
Should have been Collision and Lyne, Sykes and Riley.

| What today did show is that Agar has manned up to the fact sending Wildie out on loan was an absolute shocker of a decision as McShane isn't an 80 minute hooker

| Kirmond was injured before we started today, hence we were already playing with 16. The fact he came out before the rest of the team only to have a run suggests he was trying out the injury which clearly flared up early.
Rest him and get him better - he's a shadow of the player he can be.
Though Rich Moore was stand out today and my MoM.
Lynne tackling poor and I was worried when he was one on one after the break - looked like he didn't know how to finish - thank God he had support. Finally why didn't he run round the try he did score when he was unopposed, although it made no difference, it could of done.
Washbrook for me is in the same bag as Lynne, picked to by Agar to show that his boys are still first team. Would rather have Walshaw than Washbrook at the moment.

| The insistence on playing Kirmond at the minute when he is clearly injured is ridiculous. Captain or not he needs resting before he's broken beyond repair.
What is the point in him starting every game and not being able to last a half, therefore leaving us light on interchanges (especially on a warm day like today)
I've not been in the Agar Out camp all season but he is driving me towards it with ridiculous selections and decisions. I cannot understand what he is thinking at all.
Mathers on the wing - Ridiculous
Sammut at Fullback - Doesn't work
Sykes in the halves - Not when we could have Sammut and Siejka or Sammut and Godinet
Scruton anywhere at the minute seems strange - his heart doesn't appear to be in it.
We have survived 15 years in Superleague - a lot of that has been purely team spirit and a willingness to work for each other (something you could see in Cas even in their warm-up).
We have none of that at the minute. No desire, no team spirit no willingness to pull together and collectively perform above individual abilities.
I can't go on Monday and I'm glad that I can't. I don't remember ever feeling like that before in all my time supporting Trinity.

| Been away for a bit & trying to get up to speed with what's going on. Has Fox been dropped or is he injured? I thought he'd had a decent start to the season & unsure as to why he'd be dropped for an out of position & uninterested Mathers?

| We have one of the most potent wingers in SL who is not getting the ball from his centre.
In the 2nd half Collis had Riley on his outside and decided to dummy the pass and was tackled straight away, for me, I don`t think that Collis is replicating his form of last season, its making it look a waste of time bringing Riley over here for just his defence !

| Richie Mathers did look to be a player short on self belief. Maybe he`s just about had enough about reading about himself on this forum from some of the contributors on here who find it easier to slag off a player from behind there anominity than to give the players the support for putting on the Red White and Blue.
I like to look at other teams sites on this forum and none are as detrimental to there own team as we are.

| Another mastermind team selection from Agar. It was a complete joke.
Agar is taking the urine and it's getting silly now. At 65 minutes I could have happily walked out of the ground and not known the final score until I checked the results later on in the evening.
Has he got money on himself to play all of his backs in every position from 1 to 7 this season? It's looking that way at the moment.

If making metres sideways is a sign of potency, I'd agree with you; otherwise, Riley was ineffectual yesterday. Our system is based on the wingers coming in to make yards out of our own 20 - he never did that, just ambled across the defensive line and submitted to the first tackle.
Compare and contrast Ben Cockayne in the Hull game on Friday night; not the worlds most skilful player and prone to the odd brainfart, but runs the ball in hard and fast and *never* submits to the tackle without fighting on the way down, and fighting to get back up.
With the exception of Richard Moore, Scott Anderson and Matt Ryan, there was no passion or desire in our team yesterday - they looked like a group of players who were going through the motions.

| Why does Mr Agar keep changing our halves around, it's crazy.
We have a problem, in that having signed Sammut and with Seyjka now here (not to mention Sykes), we have too many half back options.
Unfortunately, this has meant experimenting with Sammut at FB, when clearly, he performs better in the halves and we have too many players who just don't want to defend with enough urgency and desire.
Although the result yesterday wasn't good, we weren't too far away from Cas, bearing in mind the 4 tries in the last 10 minutes but, there is no cohesion whatsoever with ball in hand, which will never happen when Agar keeps changing the playmakers around.

Don't know if he got there by accident or was covering for some one else but i'm sure seijka was on the right wing for a spell in the 2nd half.

I'd include Sammut on that list and possibly Godinet but agree with the gist of your post.
For me they look completely uninspired by the man in charge. Our squad is not that bad, but that isn't being seen on the park by way of looking like a team. Agar seems like a decent bloke and speaks well. But he's just not doing the business. Some of his team selections are horrendous, he was guessing today with that team. I don't like calling for a man to lose his job but he's gotta go
