I would agree.
Before we hit the financial issues, I felt our target should have been to get to the top of the bottom 7.
That in my mind was Bradford, Cas, Hull KR, London, Salford, Widnes and us
Until the Lees games taht was still a possibility
Now Hull KR and Salford are taking themselves to the top of that group. Salford may feel they can go higher but I think in their first big season 6 is a good result and then see what they can do in the playoffs
Bradford probably feel they are bigger than that group too.
Although we will still compete against the bigger boys. Wins against Cas, Widnes, London (if playing) are vital |

Just because Salford are splashing the cash doesn't mean they are guaranteed top 8. Is the team going to gel? Will the Chase/Smith partnership work? Will players and coaching staff crack under the pressure to perform? Will the Doctor stay the distance?

I think next year will be very very interesting. I think Wigan have lost a few players and will drop a couple more games than last season. Warrington are in the same boat for me. Hkr and hull have new players on board , but for me will also drop more points than last year. Salford spent the cash , we will have to see. Cas better coached than last year, and a better squad, Leeds still have a solid squad , but I don't see them as a threat to the top four. St will have a better season than last. Widnes , not sure about them.
Wakey need to recruit one or two solid grafters, and a playmaker. Lets see how the season pans out.
