If we have to play Washbrook, please lets back him. We are at a point where we are at the bare minimum.
If Kaye isn't ready then we have little alternative.
I think I'd prefer Washbrook as an extra tackler to Smith who doesn't add enough to attack either.

A definite no to Washbrook in the halves. Not particularly happy with Smith there either. I'd rather the two inexpetienced halves have a shot there, afterall they may be the 6 and 7 next season.

I'd go with this quote. L.Smith been tried at 6 in a few games and it's not worked. He was not very good against Hudds which didn't help Gouldings game. Wildie at 7 and Goulding at 6, two natural halves.

I disagree with Washbrook in the halves even at 13 he offers nothing in attack it's like he gets the ball and the play dies, rarely he puts people away.

I know its only been at Championship but Liam Kay has played far better at 6 than when he played on the wing or centre for the Dons !

That's what I'm saying though.
He doesn't put people away but neither does Smith. So if it has to be one of them I'd have Washbrook to tighten the defense and go with one half back and Aiton and Mathers can step up.

Washbrook admits the position at 6 is beyond him and he is a back rower. Goulding and Kaye for me with Wildie on the bench as back up for 6,7 and 9.
