Agar appears to have tamed Ben Cockayne, so I see no reason why he can't do the same with Liam Watts; I was a (very) vocal opposer of BC's signing but since joining us, he appears to have knuckled down, grasped the opportunity and made a genuine effort to repay the confidence that was shown in him. Fair play - I was wrong.

A nucleus of local lads playing with a bit of pride and passion would be a great backbone for our team going forward.

We have all been young and done stupid things in our late teens and early twentys and then one day the light comes on or events happen and we change.Hes a youngster and dont take a backward step and some of our senior players can point him in the right direction.Heavens above we have had our share of bad boys in the past and they have come good.The one thing with Agar is all the players that have played for him say good things about him so he must have a good influance on the players.

He was giving away quite a few penalties and others are playing better tbh.

I don't expect this is anything like a done deal by the way - I imagine he's on the radar of quite a few SL clubs.

Being a cynic, I expect it is a done deal somewhere - not necessarily at Wakey - but do players ask for release without their agent having an offer?

Offer him a lifeline to the end of this year. It's on him whether he takes the chance much like Ben C has.
