fantastic crowd for a sat night game on sky...( and eurosport in oz).. great first half performance but faltered second half

being honest it felt mroe like nearly 4k crowd. just been through shutterman's pics, and i remain unconvinced that the crowd was of that scale. perhaps everyone was standing under the new north cover.

Yeah that end does look busy on the footage, I think that it will have that effect for the lower attendances, because of the sides at BV being so narrow, it doesn't take many to #gonorth and the ground will look a fair bit emptier. On the plus side though, atmosphere was a lot better and apart from a couple of Salford fans fighting amongst themselves no drama!

Lets just say it was about as optimistic as you can get - maybe it was right but I'd of said 5,500 myself.

North stand was busy, fair few in there again and near back not much free space. Made some noise again, hope it continues

Everyone was in the fleetmaster the new home of the trinity faithful alot have moved from the west into there and it was fairly packed all through the match

Thought at the time the crowd would be announced at around 5000 or so, and the highlights from the Hospitality blocks doesn’t alter my opinion, especially in the second half when most of the Trinity support ventured to the Northern end of the ground. The Eastern and Western Terrace were sply populated and the Fleetmaster stand wasn’t fully occupied either.

Still after many a game thinking crowds had been unstated it makes a change when it appears to go the other way.
