Id start with John and Wood in the halves. I cant really see what Tim Smith brings to us apart from a reputation of been a good player for one season, a long time ago. Id rather see a young half back pairing thats got something to prove

I think Smith does a good job at 1st receiver controlling things. I think the problems start a bit wider. Wood and Wildie for me are better players than John from what i have seen. I hope John comes good but is he not on a 3 year contract? We need him to fire.

Can smith do anything bar an inside ball? Saying that its one more option than John offers.

Looked a much sharper team with Wood in the starting 13. With regards to Smith; when his passing game is on form he's superb, when it's off he's bloody awful.

I would agree that's probably over-used; it becomes a bit predictable after the first half a dozen times or so.

I think he can, it seems he's going through the motions and letting himself down along with the paying fans.

He is a better player than the Smith we've seen so far but imo only he can change that.

I saw a different guy to the one who played against London and Castleford - and that is the problem - he is 2 different people! One is highly motivated and wants to run the show and the other is disintrested. If someone could figure out a way to get him up for every game, we'd have a star on our books, but it really seems that he struggles to get motivated for the 'smaller' clubs, and we're no way good enough to be able to do that as we are one of those 'smaller' clubs!
