Back on topic regards Tomkins I feel he had some grounds for complaint, he received a lot of attention in the tackle in or around his face all game, especially from Obst which was a bit of a surprise to me.

At the end of the day though he needs to get used to it and take it as a compliment, as he only gets the attention because he is such a rare talent.

the only silver lining to todays cloud is that im not wasting a fortune going to france next week.

To be fair i though wigan were excellent, and playing a good to watch style of rugby.

We, however are clueless, and of the playwers out there thought only henderson did the job he was put out to do well, maybe blaymire too, rest had no right to wear the colours in most cases, and please do not start me on Paul Cooke!

I guess you didn't notice him doing the same to Obst though eh??!

I know we all tend to watch games with blinkers on but you should try watching both sides if you're going to moan about things like that!

I noticed it especially late in the game when Obst took a good battering off some of the bigger lads in the pack remember Fielden and Coley catching hold of him and giving him a bit of treatment too, Tomkins was at Obst but in my opinion it was retaliation.

Kear clearly sent his player out to try to disrupt Tomkins and give him a bit of a tough time and to be honest I have no problem with that, I understand the theory, not sure it worked today it seemed to spur him on, but that is the risk you take. Not moaning at the tactics simply offering a reason for his frustration, and as I stated it is something he is going to have to get used to.

funny how tomkins can tackle blaymire above the chin but nobody can do it back ? for the quotes about living in wakefield !! i was in wigan last week and what an absolute whole it is..you want to be proud to live there .. i certainly couldn't and i deffo wouldn't want to bring my kids up there...forgot though..they have 2 parents and don't live on benefits..apologies to those people unfortunate to be in that situation but not to what i saw last week !

If it is the tackle centre of the sticks bout 30 out from the Trinity line in the first half, personally I thought is was a cracking tackle.

Tomkins is indeed a rare talent, but he's also a petulant, niggly little basterd with more chelp than Kevin Sinfield.

Can't stand the kid myself, but I'm sure he'll live with it.
