It all seems to have gone quiet but with only a few games left I'd imagine they'll be in no rush to bring players in.

And reading other posters on here too, others claim to be the best man for the job too.

I'm new to this board, posting wise, but was reading it for a while before I joined up as a member. Didn't EW work for the club at some point. If so, will probably have seen things happen around him, where others on here would not have access to, or knowledge of, whether it would be good or bad. Maybe they should have left it there, but it must be hard sometimes working somewhere you like, and seeing or hearing things, that might not have been right, and then suggesting something that may improve the club, one way or another

If EW wants to point out what was wrong with the club when he worked there, he can do. It’s just all the cryptic BS makes him appear to be a bitter ex employee with an axe to grind.

May I point out that I have NEVER laid claim to be the best man for the job, and certainly would not want to take over the club.

All I did was work for them for a while, long enough to see where possible errors were made, and how possible improvements could have been made for the club to stop haemorrhaging money, and increase revenue. At the end of the day, they paid my wages, and surely on top of that, is it not in your own best interest to do so.

Some of these issues were ignoring the fact that energy bills were paid at the wrong tariff, paying extortionate amounts for pre match entertainment to empty crowds, doing so ahead of creditors who then took us to court, costing even more, grossly reducing season ticket prices and offloading the catering. This is without going into the lottery. Michael Carter was aware of all of this.

I highlighted these at the time to Jimmy, Andrew and Michael, and all I got from them was “you’re paid to do not think”, and they were just ignored. The way they all came across was very rude.

This the team of the club I had supported since 1980. Would you have not been a little disappointed.

I am not bitter, I have moved on, and have become successful in what I do. I am happy in leaving them to get on with it.

What I will say, and no way am I divulging names here, but there are people who have been involved with the club who’s relationship has to say the least, become strained.

Would not blame any one of them for wanting out, all great players made to look clueless by our coach.

I am afraid everything must return to Chester because what is being suggested is the loss of three of our best players thus weakening the team further whilst retaining Chester as coach. I would suggest that it would be better to keep the players and replace the coach, unless you think he can turn the corner with a worse squad.
