This bit really get me
When she states the council did not agree to the trigger point it was imposed on them
Well in some way she has shown that, by removing any obligation for Newcold to be part of the trigger !
In fact it appears the reason they don't want trigger points, is because they don't want anything to trigger
the construction of a stadium.
I am sure one of the resident legal experts will be along soon to argue that somehow the club are really at fault here.

One thing is clear here ... and I appeal to all my fellow trinitarians here... there will be mud slinging.. accusations and trolling.. and some people wil genuinely support a different agenda...
we as individuals should not be drawn into that.. however affronted and however tempting it is! That what the other side will strive for... to engage our baser side and make us angry... don't let it happen...

There was an obligation at the Public Inquiry for the Developer in return for planning gain to build a 12,000 capacity stadium and pass it to the Wakefield and District Community Trust on a 99 year lease for a peppercorn. The Trust was then to grant a 99 year underlease to the Club for a rent to be agreed between the Trust and the Club.
Everyone seemed happy with that deal at the time of the PI but apparently some are not happy with it anymore. |

In what way. Please enlighten us all regarding your wonderful alternative - or are you one of those to whom the penny is yet to drop.
I'll help you out shall I - if we don't get the initial agreement enforced there will be no Trinity. There will be no Trinity because there will be no NM and no BV.
By 2019 we WILL be homeless and nomadic. We WILL be kicked out of SL and we WILL be at Dewsbury and we WILL go bust it's inevitable.
This is not. Carters call or the Trust it's the Council. You need to get your head out of the sand like a few others on here - this is now a fight for survival and as far as I'm concerned you need to pick a side and remain loyal. |

They don't care, however get a freedom of information request and parade around Wakefield with the respective salaries of the council leaders. That will more than likely rattle cages.
They are playing the holier than thou card in the press, time to show the public what these crooks take from the public purse. |
