| 1. I'd guess (and I have no inside knowledge) that we're towing the SL/RL party line, they lent us money to pay the tax man off.
2. Sadly yes.

1) Why would the Wakefield club or any other that is trying to reduce the wage bill vote for a two up two down relegation ? Real risk if being relegated here which admittedly would allow the club to rebuild again in the lower division.
2) By offering expensive contracts in the first place then reducing the cost of season passes for two seasons has this contributed to the current situation?'"
1. Beats me... hegemony?
2. Not as simple as that... Higher prices - less customers - less sales..

| Not Justin's fault. He would have stayed. We could not afford to keep him.

That's all you have got to say, the thanks for nothing should be directed at the board because that is what apparently they got for him. He did not ask or want to leave but the board did so we are now down three experienced props from last season.

Don't speak for me. Justin wanted to stay at Wakey for the rest of his career. His own words.
Soon slunk off at the first sign of trouble. I don't care what anyone says, he had options.
We may have overpaid him but he's a Hull KR player now. So thanks for nothing.
I'm Wakefield til I die, not Wakefield til they've gone.

I don't want to speak for you nor do I want to think like you because your mind must be a sad and lonely place.

Hang on! You don't have to explain to anyone why you don't buy a ST. I'm sick and tired of some people on here laying the guilt trip on non ST purchasers. None of this is their fault so get off their backs!!
In over 55 years of supporting Trinity, it is always been the die hard supporters who have had to pull us out of the EDIT, whilst those mismanaging the club have us lurching from one crisis to the next on a regular basis.
For what it's worth, I have never had/wanted a ST. Trinity never has been the be all and end all for me and, I have a feeling that will not make me a true supporter to many on here. Whatever. They are still MY team.

| Not usually one to post rumours or what 'so and so says'. But been told on good authority that Cockayne is following Poore and it's to be announced this week, as expected i guess

Right on brother; if JE hadn't interfered in the perfectly good deal RA had brokered with JP and his agent, his wage wouldn't have been unsustainable in the first place.

It's been expected for some time.
Let's hope there is a signing fee for this sale as estimated at £30,000 several weeks ago hopefully that figure is still accurate. Can be replaced by Lynn on the wing next season.

| With regard to the players comings and goings, especially the 'goings', I feel that credit must be given to RA and his backroom staff. The transfer fees received to date must be around £250,000, all for players that other teams were unwilling to sign or take a risk on and RA took the gamble and has turned them into commodities that other clubs want and have been willing to pay money for (as has been previously commented upon, not many RL teams pay transfer fees)
