Its not a must win but its a should win. Don't think we need to edge our bets this season the squads good enough to pull it off.
It also depends how you look at things you could say a semi finals a must win to reach the final. You could also say the game v HKRs a must win to go into round 2 with a win under the belt and 2 points.

I'd rather treat a a game as a "must win" than a "should win". If you start treating games as a "should win", you can very easily get stung. See Chelsea result last night.

Sot on there Wilzay lad, there should be no room for complacency.

But it's not a must win game that's the point. I'm sure they do try and treat it as such but it isn't.

Must win for me 2 points good start to the campaign

Brian McDermott summed it up perfectly on BBC radio Leeds last night when asked a question about Stevie Ward not playing he responded "If it was a final he would be playing, but we are not going to risk him for a regular weekly fixture"

If this was a must win game then we would have to throw everything at it, but it is not..This is the first game of the season and we have a full season to think about.

For the people saying this is a must win game, do you then put it in the same bracket at the MPG?

Ultimately its a game we should be winning to be in the top 8. If we are wanting to finish above a team like Hull KR, we should be taking the 2 points from them, and in the process preventing them from gaining 2 points.

BetFred giving 6/5 for a straight Hull KR win so I might have a lump at that just to make a defeat a bit more tolerable. Would be happy to walk away with a hit in the pocket.

I have it on good authority as of yesterday we have sold over 900 tickets so looks like we will have nearly 1000 supporters. Really good sales so come on Trin.
