That very much looks like a question to me and he did say that he would not be answering any questions, simply pointing out the crap spoken on here!

Clever!!
Also:
Tim Smith and Danny Kirmond have signed for Salford.
Kyle Amor has signed for Hull FC
Justin Poore is going back home to ply his trade in the NRL
Daddycool - please feel free to point out if any of these are untrue.

| I like this game.
Person or persons at this club authorised the signing of Tautti and going back further other players knowing full well we were skint and had been for some time.
That person signed a luxury player the club cannot afford and questions should be asked about a continued roll at this club.
Thats a statement not a question.

I guess that as daddycool hasn't posted a rebuke of this statement then it must not be classed as blatantly untrue.
FWIW I tend to agree that there seems to still be a tendency to live beyond our means, and someone has to be held accountable for this.

| As I have said before, it's ok doing the "accountable" speach but its based on rumour and no one talks about it when we are still here without being in trouble.
I'd be ok with this kind of discussion if anyone ever came back on and said the accountable person must be doing ok with resources.
I guess it's more fun to be negative.
I'm not blindly following.....pre-empting El Rey's reply. I accept its never going to be perfect and we are clearly poor compared to some, but no one seems to be giving credit to balance out the issues.
As far as I can see, we the supporters are better off now than we've been for years.
Crowds, marketing, some star players, top 8 trips, exciting games, lots of info from club, club shops in town, kit to buy.....apart from occsssional star players we have had none of this in last 40 years.

But if the star players and top 8 trips have been secured by spending money we didn't have and threaten the clubs continued stay in SL as we allegedly need to trim the wage bill and owe the tax man again, do you not think we should be questioning the people making such decisions? This club was crying out for a period of stability once AG had his feet under the table, yet 2 years later we appear to be back in familiar territory.
If we manage to scrape through this time, we need changes because we can't afford to keep letting people make bad decisions otherwise our luck will eventually run out

Yes you are right on the face of things it appears we have never had it so good.
But if you wish to talk about balance then whilst all this good stuff has been going on we have never had as many CCJ's or winding up orders either.
I can't make my mind up right now. Is all this good stuff just a bit of bling and the club is built on a mountain of Bull or have we built strong sustainable foundations and we really are moving forward ?

| I think it's fair to say that for a club like ours our main sponsor going bust and leaving us with a quarter of a million pound hole in the budget was always going to cause some issues.
Having said that, it is difficult to explain why you would then go and spend more money bringing in a luxury player midway through the season when realistically we could have managed without.
The CCJ's are worrying but again looking at both sides I am hoping that it is a case of people seeing others doing it and jumping on the bandwagon rather than a policy decision to not pay people.
The winding up orders are more worrying, especially from HMRC, as surely we know that given previous dealings with them they are going to show us ZERO leniency. they should be top of the list for getting paid, no matter what!!
I hope that our commercial team are working their s off in the background to bring in much needed revenue for next season so we can compete and so we can re-establish a bit more of a sound footing with our suppliers.

Well as far as I know the total sponsorship package from France was £240K over 2 yrs. He was part way through his second year when he went bust so to my reckoning we will have had over half that amount. I would therefore have expected the loss to be no more than around £100K (Perhaps daddycool knows different).
But if it was for the full £240K then it means we allowed him a full years sponsorship without him paying us a penny and then also allowed him to carry on doing it in to his second year till he went bust.

AG is on record saying France going bust and the postponed Leeds game left £300k hole in the budget. If that's is accurate then its scenario two.

The Eric France deal was due to run until the end of 2014 and was I am told worth around 10K a month. So the two scenarios are -
We received nothing from them this year and the final years contract due next year was void due to liquidation. = 240K. AG is being 'creative' with the figure lost.
We received nothing last year and due to them going bust and received nothing this year. = 240K. As CEO, JE continues to allow all Eric France branding to remain in place despite being a year in arrears? Really? Surely he would not be that stupid would he? If so then he should be hauled over the coals.
And bear in mind in all this that a new sponsor was found in early march to offset some of the shortfall. A 'six-figure sum' was quoted. And ultimatley the Leeds match will have pulled more in on a warm July evening as opposed to a dark chilly night in early April, so more revenue there.
So as we stand, after a cashflow delay, our shortfall not 300K so i'm assuming that now the gap has been filled the debt has been repayed in full? Or has someone just got their sums wrong AGAIN?
The point about signing a well paid overseas player in a salient one, as is the waste of a wage on a player not up to the task in Molloy. I've said it before and i'll say it again, it is time for a change of leader.
