| Sadler has reported that a consortium wants to take over. Run properly, it's a viable club, if you charge people the going rate to watch them!

Shove price to £125. Will still do better with 4,000 season ticket holders and 8,000 crowds at that rate.

Thats under value-ing the product. I think £20 is too much to pay on the gate at any SL club. £15 is about right IMO. £15 times 13 games = £195. Thats what we should all be aiming for right across the board and maybe £150 for championship clubs.

They will only offload if they need cash to cover the running costs while they are administrators.
Their purpose is to run the business whilst a buyer can be found.
This usually means keeping all key personell employed whilst ever possible as they have to leave enough of the business in tact to encourage someone to buy the business.
If it moves to a liquidation then everything gets sold.
Bearing in mind the only have 10 days, next week will see the picture become much clearer.
Great win for them last night though.

It may be futile given how much they need (£1.2m) and they're certainly not going to get that through a fire-sale of players, most of which are off-contract at season's end and will be free agents if it goes into liquidation.
That's why there is seemingly a priority for an investor to come forward.

Think you are right on the £15 entry, although you've got to give at least three free games to make people buy.
This year, we sold 4,000 season tickets. Not sure how many were juniors and concessions, but lets say half. That's £200,000. Plus maybe £100,00 from the other concessions. Through the gate, there are 4,000 paying. Probably more like 3,000 adults at £20 and 1,000 concessions. That's £70,000 through the gate, and times 13 = £910,000, plus £300,000 from season tickets, making £1,100,000. That is already nearly double what the Bulls were making from season ticket sales, and I suspect they aren't doubling the "through the gate" receipts.
Just bad business decisions.

| I can't see how BB can see out the season without financial help from the RFL
As there's a little over 2months of the regular season left
The Bulls wages bill alone is 200K per month
I can't see any other SL team willing to pay a large transfer fee for any player when the may become free agents, any player snapped up from the administrator will go for a pittance as happened with a couple of our own players

I think the priority will be to cut the wage bill by 'off loading' players and any fee they can get will be a bonus. The trouble is many clubs are seemingly already spending up to the cap or can't afford to increase their salary spend.

There's a simple way of paying a transfer fee and loaning him back to Bradford until the end of the season and letting them pay the wages.

And off field staff, as sad as it is they still have a huge wages bill for this side of the club.

| Looking on companycheck.co.uk there are some much bigger debts recorded than the Bulls, the negative net value of Hudds is staggering!!!!
I can't claim to understand it all but there's lots of minus figures and even more zero's at most clubs as far as I can fathom.
Still SL, sparkling success!!!!!

| If clubs with a benefactor like these can be allowed to operate,
London net worth £-8,865,285
Hudds net worth £-7,325,812
Yet clubs without and ok with debt are at risk.
Bradford Total Current Liabilities : £1,873,863
Castleford Total Current Liabilities : £2,200,043
Before any smarty pants have a go, I would imagine our records prior to admin were as bad as these if not worse.

I don't recall the figure (though I seem to remember it was posted on here), but I don't think we hit the 2 million mark. Seem to remember it was between 1 and 1.5m, but I could be wrong. Either way, it makes little difference. The key will be to see how we manage to operate over the next few years, now that the historic debt has been wiped clean.
The figures certainly show the difference between operating with a sugar daddy at the helm and operating without. You have to ask yourself whether our sport is sustainable in the long term in its present format.
