I don't agree, so there. I will though give you siejka IF he signs which is no guarantee as yet. Keinhorst isn't as good as either smith or Collis at centre in my opinion so they should be first choice there. Play wingers on the wing. Fox did well today and Briscoe or Lyne on the other.

If Your struggling to find the grapes, might I suggest 2 sugars with it, but I would personally avoid the Aspartame as that can leave a bitter after taste.

Surprised you did not appreciate that the stadium is currently in transition and yes the flood lights and pitch will be sorted. When you open your new ground in Stanley give me a shout and will gladly give it the once over.

The improvements will definitely make it a better little ground that's for sure.

As for the game, we were out enthused by a far more enthusiastic team, but we have to remember it was only a friendly.
We can't use that game as a yardstick for how the season will fare.

All in all (despite the result) I had a decent day out.

Out of interest are we having a pre-season training camp this year or have the financial issues put paid to that?

The new stands at POR look to be coming on well and depending how they develop the opposite end, it will be a tidy RL ground, with more soul than many of the new Lego style stadiums that are around these days.
It's supposed to be somewhere to go and watch a game of RL and they are definitely making progress.
Their problem wont be the ground, it will be finding enough willing customers to go and spend their Sunday afternoons watching Fev play.
I really can't understand folk knocking them, they should be applauded for trying to make progress, in spite of the lack of prospects of promotion.

As I understand it's been put back for a while as the overseas players aren't here.
