A couple of v good chances bombed in that 2nd 40. Senior got plenty of ball but either fumbled or had no space. Think it was Eseh who got over the line but couldnt ground it get it away cleanly.
BOther than that we never really got much ball in their 20m

Salford are a decent team in my opinion. Not a saints or Wigan, but they’ll be possibly top 6 this year.

Anyhow it's a good job the players feel like they are actually being coached this year, how bad would things be if the same team was under last years coaching set up.

Some of the errors are just crazy though. At 0-0 Welsby knocks on from a bomb. We get the ball 10m out from the Saints line. Whitbread fumbles the ball playing it on the 2nd tackle. Coach that!

Poor handling errors, no composure against a team who lost their best forward from literally the get go. Walmsley would of added an extra 12 points just from his destructive runs creating more chaos in our defence.

Walmsley went off because of the ferocity of the Wakefield defence in that 1st half. So yes if we hadnt of tackled him hard during the game he would have got some points.
