Was having a conversation yesterday and mentioned that it seems most teams who travel to Toulouse appear to field weakened teams. Probably just a luck thing but would be nice if we had some luck like that lol.

Down to injuries/suspensions mate.
Hardaker, Sutcliffe, Austin and Sezer injured
Mustapha, Prior, Tetavano and Holroyd suspended.
No idea why they`ve not picked Aydin especially as he is only here for 2 weeks


Trust me we want the win as it puts us in with a shout for top 6.

I don't understand team selection at Trinity so I suppose I have no chance of understanding team selection at Leeds but I do wonder why a coach can let Walker who was to be a big star at one time go to Hull when he could have played full back in this game allowing Myler to play in the halves instead of Sinfield junior

But you watch the reactions of all the clubs this season. None appear to be panicking.

There is no way Leeds would have brought Smith in if relegation were ever a serious concern. Would Powell still be here. Did Toulouse seem the least bit bothered when they lost key players?

I’ve been critical of Poching but he picks his team like he’s testing them rather than chasing wins. It’s like he’s either rubbish as many including myself have suggested, or he knows something we don’t.

Finally there is MC, where is he? Not a peep yet I know he’s still totally involved in the background.

I may be totally wrong and these may be the ramblings of a desperate fan but this season feels like a set up to me.

I’m not suggesting that if we finish bottom we won’t be relegated. What I’m suggesting is that for some reason it doesn’t seem to be as bigger issue as it usually is. It’s odd. Are you hinting at that SuperLeague wants us relegated?Or that they don't want Toulouse relegated

I read it that something aside from relegation might be pre determined and communicated with clubs but not the public.

No it’s more simple than that.

I think the future structure of the game has been decided and that being relegated this year is not the end of the world like it once was.

Could be a million miles out but I’ve been involved on the fringes of the game for years. And the way a lot of clubs have behaved this year seems odd. Whilst I’ve never known the governing body of the sport keep its head down like it is at present.

It’s just a feeling but I’ve done ok with those in the past
