| I was a radio listener today and the commentators were saying constantly how Pauli was hard to put down and seemed very impressed. Interesting to see the other views.
They also sounded very surprised at the try by Ash Handley, I think, with them commenting that the player didn't celebrate. There was a lot of comment too how Leeds were getting away with a lot in the tackle. I do think Kendall is a bit of a rabbit in the headlights against a big side. Wasn't him who was determined not to give us a penalty against Wigan in front of the sticks to make it a draw, even when they were taking an age? I just don't think he wants to be the ref who causes an upset.

| Leeds looked much the better attacking force whereas we insisted on coming back inside until the last minutes of the game. Quite a few "dangerous" long passes in his own twenty metre area from Jowitt, which, fortunately, came off. I would keep Rocky H, Jowitt & Batchelor in the side for now. Thought our best attacking forward was Ashurst, and Hirsty put in a good stint also. Unfortunately we had the usual WT twenty minute nap in the second half. Three consecutive games against top sides with a maximum five point gap shows that we are nearly there or thereabouts.

| I don't think the ref gave us anything and had he stopped the clock when Leeds were crawling back after our last try I thought we would have nicked itbut I thought the effort from the boys was excellent. Great game though

| We're losing narrowly against the top sides. Might be the same next week. After that, we have a run of games we have more of a chance in, so the season starts to balance out.

| Another tough one to take but as others have said some cracking performances from our boys. A few loose carries and poor passes gave Leeds the win today if we had got some points in that dominant first 10 minutes the scoreline would have been so different.
On another note was thrilled to see 'amateur' Workington Town beat 'iconic' Bradford today

| Lost last 5 games by a total of 20 points! Not good enough. Need to find a way of closing a game out.

| Still fuming tbh, a few dodgy calls by the ref & by the end he didn't have a clue what was going on around him. However, I thought we looked good in the 1st half but switched off when we were 8 points to the good. Some of the defensive efforts were garbage in that period & cost us. I've been supportive of the team so far, but pretty miffed by this loss.
I heard a few things about Paulie Paulie today which doesn't sound good & someone mentioned earlier, hope night true but if they are then time for Annekin or Crowther to get a chance.

| I understand why people are disappointed with the score but we played really well.
We had chances that we didn't turn in to points. We threw the ball around with a lot of success and we were dangerous even without 3 of our most senior players. Clearly Leeds missed a couple too.
I thought Horo was excellent in defence and good in attack. 13 clearly suits him.
We'll never know whether Finn would have made a difference but Hampshire definitely added something. His goal kicking was spot on; he ran at the line and caused chaos sometimes and he was good in defence running Hall down at one point. I like him.
Max was safe at the back. I reckon Grix might have had slightly more in attack near the line but he stopped a certain try 1 on 1.
The one controversial thing I'll say is for all of Ashurst's tireless defence and hard running, he isn't busting through the line. We need to work on that, whether it is the pass or the run.

| I dont normally bag the players but Pauli Pauli wasn't good enough today.
When everyone is fit Fifita, England, Huby and Hirst are the starting props for me.
Hirst was excellent today.

| I don't know how to feel anymore as, yet again, we lose a game we should have won. Yes, as many have said above, we played well....well we did for 55 of the 80 mins but once again we dipped alarmingly for 25 mins of the 2nd half and, just like Hull, woke up again once we had gone behind. The difference in the 2 teams? In the first half our completion rate wasn't great but we still managed a lead as Leeds made their own fair share of errors too and we played well for a good part of the half. 2nd half Pauli Pauli gave away another pen that put us on the back foot, his knock on in the first half having led to a try too. We lost impetus as Leeds got their line speed on overdrive and tackled us into submission. We didn't seem to have an answer and the players looked very flat I thought. I am puzzled why, at one of the interchanges, we seemed to leave ourselves with only one prop on the pitch (is that correct?) This was definitely at the time when they started to steam roller us.
I don't want to be too critical but I am afraid saying 'oh we played well' only to lose narrowly again, is beginning to wear a bit thin.
I think Pauli Pauli could do to sit a few games out now. He is carrying that injury and has cost us quite a few points in quite a few matches. The rest of the team and CC need to really thrash out why we fold for periods of matches as it is getting ridiculous now.

I worry that the pressure to beat those sides will get to us if we keep losing like this though. Nobody in the bottom 4 or 5 is a push over.

| Quote: fullofhope "Agree about Pauli though to be fair the amount he drinks and smokes the fact he can get on the pitch is a minor miracle its not his fault hes getting picked.
The guy is a liability how long are people prepared to give him to get fit lol hes had a full pre season and 8 games the reason he is so far off the mark is due to his off field antics its disrespectful to the club and his team mates.'"
Is this true?

| The score was disappointing but the way we played was not. We actually looked like a team who had played together before. We have found our halves for the future and a kicker who looks well above average.
