What? you can't see why people wouldn't be too fond of a guy that said he was going to cheat, got caught, then tried to say he didn't. In the end he only hurt is own team. Lets be honest he's extremely lucky to still be in SL because of said actions and then the downward spiral of his team after the points reduction was upheld. Not to mention brain farts from the Hull KR players at the end, no wonder he was ecstatic.
That's leaving out his regular embarrassing rants and tweets.. Even when they're aimed at the right people, the RFL. He uses the language of a 13 year old, not a supposed Dr and chairman of a RL Club.

Anyway well done to the Salford fans and commiserations with the Hull KR faithful, what a way to lose SL status.

Disgraceful scenes at the end of the game yesterday, both sets of fans dragged their clubs name through the mud, unfortunately you could see it coming in the last five minutes. We got hauled over the coals for idiots letting off a smoke flair. I wonder what sort of fine and suspended sentence both clubs will get, that was much worse than smoke in a crowd.

Scenes were disgraceful. Talking about smoke flares, never heardcanything morecabout the flares Cas set off at BV this season!

We were there yesterday and I think think the feeling was numb and disbelief.

My wife and youngest were crying at the end and think it was the behaviour at the end that tipped them over.

She along with me think that the club have over spent in certain areas of their squad and maybe not so on others just to stay within budget. They are a great club and hope they come straight back up.

Both sets of fans at the end were a disgrace to their clubs. A lot is being said that the bottle thrown at GOB incited the riot. Thats one person. Shoukd it have sparked a the 200 strong pitch invasion

What I will point out is that there were quite a few in Man City and Man United shirts and not Salford shirts. Neither football team were playing. Coincidently, neither side were playing in March when tge trouble kicked off in Huddersfield.

Now Im no Sherlock Holmes and dont want to stereotype football fans in any way but could this have been caused by football fans rather than true rugby fans

As much as I would like to, you can't keep blaming football fans. A combination of stupidity, alcohol, anger and incompetence was the cause for the fighting.

Sadly i said to my other half before the game that it would likely kick off at some point, Salford tend to have that element of non-regulars who go looking to cause trouble. Hull KR have their fair share of idiots as well though as proven by the videos doing the rounds on social media where a good few of those throwing the punches are wearing KR shirts. They all need banning for life.

The bits I've seen shows most unable to stand up straight, big misters who think they can drink RL all over the tabloids for the wrong reasons again.

It's the Rugby League way has been for years, any crowd trouble blame it on football fans sweep it under the carpet and hope nothing gets mentioned.

With regard to the ugly scenes - I can't help thinking that Koukash parading his big cheque and screaming like a drunken chav didn't help matters; his disrespectful, belligerent attitude appears to have permeated the club, such that the bell-end contingent, who don't need much of an excuse to kick off, were given one. What an unpleasant man.

Shame really - HKR without a doubt offer more to SL; but their players have to shoulder the blame - how the bleeding hell did they concede 8 points in 2 minutes?! And why didn't the outspoken Mr Peacock, king of the U-turn, put even a small amount of pressure on O'Brien as he took that DG?

It shouldn't have had to come to that. KR were playing like it was job done with at least 10 minutes to go and made some appalling last tackle decisions. Salford weren't just going to give up and KR could have done a lot worse than go for a drop goal or 2.
